The inputs on our interfaces include fairly high maximum input level specifications. This means that loud signals (from microphones, line outputs or instruments) are less likely to clip those inputs. In other words, there's a lot of headroom available.
This means that to get the same signal level in your DAW as you would from an interface with a lower maximum input level specification, you need to turn up the gain dial a bit further on your Focusrite interface. This isn't an issue with your interface and there are no downsides to turning up the gain dial (that's what it's for).
