To register your Focusrite product, you will be asked to enter the product's serial number. This can be found on the box and on the underside of the device itself. Scarlett 4th Gen only: Your serial number can also be found using Focusrite Control 2 by navigating to More Options > About Focusrite Control 2 — this is accessible using a screen reader.
If you have a 'Studio' pack, please ensure you select your product's Studio Pack version when registering.
- Scarlett 1st Generation serial numbers start with the letters S, T or U
- Scarlett 2nd Generation* serial numbers start with the letters V* or W*
- Scarlett 3rd Generation serial numbers start with the letters D, F, P or Y
- Scarlett 4th Generation serial numbers start with the letters S or T
- Scarlett OctoPre and OctoPre Dynamic serials start with the letter W
- Clarett serial numbers start with the letters U or W
- Clarett+ serial numbers start with the letter C
- Clarett USB serial numbers start with the letter X
- ISA serial numbers start with the letters E, F, I, O, Q or X
- iTrack Solo serial numbers start with the letters F or T
- Red interface serial numbers start with the letters R, V, W, or X
- RedNet serial numbers start with the letters P, R, S, T, U, V, W, or X
- Saffire and OctoPre MKII serial numbers start with the letters L, O, P or S
- Vocaster serial numbers start with the letter V
The serial number is not to be confused with the product bundle code, which is in this format:
XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX
*Some Scarlett 2nd Generation and RedNet devices have the letter R placed in the middle of the serial number. To register your device, please enter the serial number without the R and your account will accept the serial.
