Applies to Zoom and all Focusrite USB audio interfaces

This guide walks you through how to setup your Focusrite audio interface in Zoom to broadcast a microphone and share system audio. To learn more about how to use Zoom, see Zoom's Help Centre:

1. Open Zoom on your computer.
2. Click on the Settings cogwheel and select the Audio tab.
3. Set the Speaker to Speakers(Focusrite USB Audio) and the Microphone to Analogue 1+2 (Focusrite USB Audio).

4. Click Test speaker to test the output and Test microphone to test the input.

        

5. To share system audio when in a meeting, click Share > More > Computer audio.
6. In the drop down menu, select Stereo (High-fidelity) and click Share.

Advanced audio setup

1. In the Microphone modes, enable Original sound for musicians, High-fidelity music mode and Stereo audio.

2. Expose the loopback inputs of your interface (Expose/Hide Windows Channels for non-ASIO Windows apps) and set the Microphone to the Loopback inputs.
3. Set up loopback on your interface to route the desired audio into Zoom. This can be a mixture of both audio inputs and playback channels. Please see Adding multiple inputs in streaming software on Windows using Loopback for more information on this.

1. Open Zoom on your computer.
2. Click on the Settings cogwheel and select the Audio tab.
3. Set the Speaker and Microphone to Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation or the name of the interface you're using.

4. Enable Use specific audio input channels, and click the Manage button to select the inputs being used by your interface.

5. Click Test speaker to test the output and Test microphone to test the input.

             

6. To share system audio when in a meeting, click Share > More > Computer audio. 

7. Zoom asks you to install the Zoom audio device, you need this to share your computer's audio. Enter your Mac's password to allow the installation. After it has installed, your Mac automatically selects the Zoom audio device as your Mac's output device.

8. In the drop down menu, select Stereo (High-fidelity) and click Share.

 

Advanced audio setup

1. In the Microphone modes, enable Original sound for musicians, High-fidelity music mode and Stereo audio.

2. Click the Manage Audio input channels button and select the loopback inputs of your interface. The channel input order can be found in the Specifications chapter of the online user guide.

3. Set up loopback on your interface to route the desired audio into Zoom. This can be a mixture of both audio inputs and playback channels. Please see Scarlett 4th Gen using Loopback for more information on this.
