Applies to Discord and all Focusrite USB audio interfaces

Discord Voice, Video and Streaming Guide
Windows
- Open the Discord desktop app.
- Click Preferences → Voice and Video.
- Under Voice, set Microphone to Analogue 1+2 (Focusrite USB Audio) and Speaker to Speakers (Focusrite USB Audio).
- Click Mic Test to confirm your settings are working. You should hear your voice played back to you.

macOS
- Open the Discord desktop app.
- Click Preferences → Voice and Video.
- Under Voice, set the Microphone and Speaker to your device (for example: Scarlett 2i2 (4th gen).
- Click Mic Test to confirm your settings are working. You should hear your voice played back to you.
Discord only receives input 1 of your audio interface. If you connect your microphone to a different input, Discord may not detect or transmit the audio as expected.
Advanced Audio Settings
Discord features several advanced audio settings and profiles, including voice isolation, a noise gate and digital gain control. You can adjust these settings depending on the audio you're sharing over Discord, for example, a synth or your voice.
If you use Discord to share audio from an instrument, select Studio under the Input Profile section. If you are only sharing your voice, choose the Voice Isolation input profile.
Choosing Custom allows you to change individual settings, such as turning off noise suppression, echo cancellation or switching on push to talk.
