We’re aware of an issue where some Windows users see the ‘No Hardware Detected’ message in Focusrite Control when NordVPN is enabled.
This occurs when NordVPN is already running before Focusrite Control has been launched.
We have raised the issue with the NordVPN team directly and are working with them to find a solution.
In the meantime, here’s a workaround that we can offer:
- Disconnect from NordVPN and close the application on your computer.
- Right-click Focusrite Control and select ‘Run as Administrator’ to launch it.
- Once Focusrite Control loads successfully, you can reopen NordVPN and reconnect.
All applications should now function as expected.
