Applies to Saffire Pro 24, Pro 24 DSP, Pro 26, Pro 40, and Liquid Saffire 56. 

If you are experiencing trouble inputting audio when using optical S/PDIF on the Saffire range of interfaces, try enabling the “Use ADAT as optical S/PDIF” before you set the sync source. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Enable “Use ADAT as optical S/PDIF”.
2. Change Sync Source to S/PDIF.
3. Select S/PDIF 2.1 or 2.2 as a source.
