Pro Tools and Cubase users:
Fader automation data is recorded to your DAW as MIDI data, mod wheel messages are used on MIDI channels 1-8.
Once you have recorded the automation, this can be edited in the automation lane associated with the relevant MIDI track in your DAW.
Logic users
Fader automation is recorded as track level automation on the 8 automation channels created as per the instructions in the DAW setup guide.
Once recorded this automation can be edited in the automation lane.
