Applies to: Interfaces that use Focusrite Control on macOS

If you attempt to install Focusrite Control on an older version of macOS that is not supported (10.11 El Capitan or below*) you might see this error message:

To allow you to use your interface on these older operating systems, you will find a slightly older version of Focusrite Control on the downloads page in the Software section for your product. Or please install Focusrite Control 3.4.6 from here:

Please note:

• 3rd gen Scarlett interfaces are not officially supported on operating systems older than macOS 10.12 (Sierra).
• Clarett USB interfaces are not officially supported on operating systems older than macOS 10.12 (Sierra)
• 2nd gen Scarlett interfaces are not officially supported on operating systems older than OSX 10.10 (Yosemite).
• Clarett Thunderbolt interfaces are not officially supported on operating systems older than OSX 10.9 (Mavericks)
