The following tables list the materials we use to make and package our products. Please use these tables and refer to your local recycling information to ensure you are disposing of any materials in a responsible manner.
To see the table below in your language, please use the translate dropdown menu above.
Most recyclable materials have the following recycling triangle Logo containing a Code printed on them. Some materials do not have this, but may still be recyclable. To find out if the material is recyclable, please see the tables below.
Packaging
Material | Logo Code | Recycling Instructions | Status | Example Components | Product Ranges |
Bio-Based Polypropylene |
5 (PP) |
Plastic Collection | Plastic foams are effective at absorbing transit shocks but are usually manufactured using fossil fuels. Bio-Based plastic reduces the demand for fossil fuel plastics and is effective in places where paper pulp is not a viable alternative. | Internal Foam Padding | Vocaster |
Cardboard (Corrugated Fibreboard) |
20 (PAP) |
Paper Collection | Cardboard and paper can be sourced sustainably and recycled easily. We are shifting over to recycled cardboard where available. | Product Gift boxes | All |
Cardboard (Corrugated Fibreboard) with Coatings |
81 (C/PAP)
|
Paper Collection | Plastic-coated cardboard can usually be recycled through the same route as uncoated cardboard. We aim to remove plastic coatings and move to recycled cardboard where available. | Product Gift boxes | Clarett, smaller RedNet, Scarlett, Vocaster |
Clay Desiccant |
7 (Other) |
General Waste | Clay is a more environmentally friendly desiccant compared to Silica Gel. We are in the process of moving over to Clay being our standard desiccant in product boxes. | Internal Desiccant | All |
Compostable Bag |
7 (Other)
|
Compost at Home | Compostable product bags are an alternative to plastic bags on smaller products to prevent damage in transit, and these are completely biodegradable using at-home composters. | Product Bag | Scarlett, Vocaster |
Paper |
22 (PAP) |
Paper Collection | Cardboard and paper can be sourced sustainably and recycled easily. We are shifting over to recycled cardboard where available. | Safety Sheets, Getting Started Guides | All |
Paperboard |
23 (PPB) |
Paper Collection | Cardboard and paper can be sourced sustainably and recycled easily. We are shifting over to recycled cardboard where available. | Ancillary Boxes, Card Sleeves | Clarett, Scarlett |
Paperboard (Non-Corrugated Fibreboard) |
21 (PAP) |
Paper Collection | Cardboard and paper can be sourced sustainably and recycled easily. We are shifting over to recycled cardboard where available. | Paper Pulp Tray | Clarett, RedNet, Scarlett |
Polyethylene Bags and Polyethylene Foam (Low-density polyethylene) |
4 (PE-LD) |
Plastic Collection | Polyethylene bags are used to protect products in transit. We are planning to move away from these as they are not biodegradable. | Product Bag | Clarett, RedNet, Scarlett |
Polyethylene Foam |
4 (PE-LD) |
Plastic Recycling (Check Locally if this is accepted) | Polyethylene foam is especially effective at absorbing transit shocks but is not easily recycled, so where possible we are now replacing it with biodegradable alternatives such as moulded pulp trays, made from recycled paper pulp. | Internal Foam Padding |

WEEE |
Consumer Electronic Waste Recycling | Our products are designed with longevity in mind, and even when one customer no longer needs it, there is always the second-hand market allowing the product to have another life. However, should you need to dispose of your product, please add this to electrical waste collections rather than general waste, so the valuable raw materials can be recovered and recycled appropriately. | Product | All |
