Applies to Focusrite interfaces compatible with Focusrite Control 2
Presets give you a way to quickly restore settings for your Focusrite interface. You can change the settings to suit a particular session or setup, and save them as a preset. Next time you need to recall the settings, you can load the preset.
Save Presets
Sample rate and clock source are not saved as part of a Preset.
- Click on Presets in the bottom-left corner of Focusrite Control 2.

Select New Preset.
- Type the name of your preset in the Preset name field.

Click Save Preset.
Load Presets
- Click on Presets in the bottom-left corner of Focusrite Control 2.
- Select one of your saved Presets.

Click Load.
When a Preset is loaded and you change any settings, an asterisk (*) appears next to the Preset name to show the current settings are different from the saved Preset.
Overwrite, rename, and delete Presets
- Click on Presets in the bottom-left corner of Focusrite Control 2.
- Click the
More Options button to the right of a Preset.

You can then overwrite, rename, and delete the Preset.
Importing and Exporting Presets
Exporting Presets
- Click on Presets in the bottom-left corner of Focusrite Control 2.
- Click the
More Options button to the right of the preset you want to export.

Select Export.
- This opens a file browser, so you can name the file and select where you want to export it to.
Importing Presets
- Click on Presets in the bottom-left corner of Focusrite Control 2.

Select the Import option in the Presets menu.
- This opens a file browser, so you can find and select the file to import.
Preset importing and exporting is available from Focusrite Control 2 version 1.825 and above.
