Applies to Microsoft Teams and all Focusrite USB audio interfaces
This guide walks you through how to setup your Focusrite audio interface in Microsoft Teams. To learn more about how to use Teams, see Microsoft's Help Centre:
Windows setup
- Open the Microsoft Teams desktop app on your computer.
- Click Settings > Devices.
- Under Audio, set Speaker to Speakers (Focusrite USB Audio) and Microphone to Analogue 1+2 (Focusrite USB Audio).
- Click Make a test call, to confirm this is working.
macOS Setup
- Open the Microsoft Teams desktop app on your Mac.
- Click Microsoft Teams > Settings > Devices.
- Under Audio Settings, set Speaker and Microphone to your device (ie: Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen).
- Click Make a test call, to confirm this is working.
Microsoft Teams only receives input 1 of your audio interface. If you connect your microphone to a different input, Teams may not detect or transmit the audio as expected.
