Applies to Scarlett Solo 4th Gen and 2i2 4th Gen

Scarlett Solo and 2i2 4th Gen devices are supported on ChromeOS, using the built-in audio driver. However, Focusrite Control 2 and the other bundled software are not compatible with ChromeOS. 
Before connecting your 4th Gen device to a Chromebook, we recommend updating the device's firmware by connecting it to a compatible Mac or Windows PC and updating the firmware in Focusrite Control 2.

Please note, that Scarlett 3rd Gen and our other interfaces are not officially supported on ChromeOS.
