Applies to: Clarett OctoPre & Clarett+ OctoPre

Each analogue input on the Clarett OctoPre has an unbalanced insert point that you can use to send the signal to external effects and then receive the effected signal back on.

The insert points are 1/4 inch jack TRS connections with the following wiring convention:

Tip = Send

Ring = Return

To turn the insert point on for a channel

1. Press the 'Insert' button next to the metering display.
2. Press the selector button below each channel that you wish to switch the insert point in on (the LED next to it will turn green to show the insert is active).
