This applies to the Saffire Range

If you are experiencing trouble getting audio when using optical S/PDIF on the Saffire Pro 40, try enabling the “Use ADAT as optical S/PDIF” before you set the sync source. To do this:

1. Enable “Use ADAT as optical S/PDIF”.
2. Change Sync Source to S/PDIF.
3. Select S/PDIF 2.1 or 2.2 as a source.
