What does float actually do?

Article applies to: Saffire, Saffire LE, Saffire Pro 10 i/o, Saffire Pro 26 i/o.

The float feature means that the SaffireControl window will sit permanently above all applications rather than disappearing each time the mouse clicks in another application's window. This allows the SaffireControl window to be shrunk down to either of its reduced window formats and then positioned in one corner of the screen, where the meters for the inputs can be viewed continuously whilst making edits in your sequencer, without having to cycle through different applications.
