How can I connect an Octopre to a Saffire interface Via ADAT?

Applies to: All OctoPres, Saffire Range

Connect your Saffire to your computer via firewire (or thunderbolt adapter if applicable). Launch Saffire Mix Control, set your sample rate and set sync source to ADAT.Octopre Pro 40 Locked 44.1

Connect the ADAT output of the Octopre to the ADAT input of your Saffire. On the Octopre make sure you set the clock source to internal. Set the sample rate on the Octopre to the same sample rate as in Saffire Mix Control. Your Saffire should now show a locked sync status.

Next, set up your DAW to record the ADAT inputs on your Saffire:

Pro 24 + Pro 24 DSP: inputs 7-14

Pro 26 + Pro 40: inputs 11-18

Liquid Saffire 56: inputs 11-18 (ADAT 1) and 19-26 (ADAT 2)
