Likely, this is because your iPhone has the Portrait Orientation Lock set to 'On', which will not allow Impact to get past the Rotation Screen.

Make sure when using Impact that you don't have the Orientation Lock enabled, by accessing your Control Center (swiping up from the bottom of the iPhone's screen), and deactivating the Screen Lock (indicated in the picture below).
