I've just connected my interface and it doesn't pass any audio

If you have a Scarlett Solo, 2i2, 2i4 or 6i6 we would first advise checking the Get Started Page for your product to make sure that you have installed the driver (if necessary) and set up your interface correctly so that it is configured in your computer's audio settings. All of this information is shown on these pages.

Some of our larger interfaces require an initial firmware update before they will pass any audio. Firmware updates are applied via Scarlett Mix Control, Saffire Mix Control, Forte Control or Focusrite Control, depending on which interface you have. To check if your unit needs a firmware update, please open the associated control program with the interface connected to the computer and powered on. If a firmware update is required, the software will automatically prompt you to do this.

You can download the necessary software for any of our interfaces from the Downloads section of our website.

The iTrack Solo, Scarlett 2i2 and 2i4 and the iTrack Dock do not have up dateable firmware so this step is not necessary.
