Yes. In most cases, the Liquid Mix will run smoothly with other firewire devices.

However, if the firewire bandwidth requirements of any two devices exceed the limitation of a firewire bus it is recommended that they are run on separate firewire buses.

• All the standard firewire ports on a Mac run from a single firewire bus (even the 800MB/s ports).
• On a Windows PC, each port on a single PCI card run on the same bus.

In order to add a second firewire bus, it is necessary to install a separate PCI firewire card.
