Focusrite product compatibility with Windows 10 'Creators Update'

Please see below a run-down of Focusrite product compatibility with Windows 10 'Creators Update' (Redstone 2, build 1703) as it currently stands. For all products, please install the latest version of any drivers/software required from the Downloads section of our website.

We would strongly recommend checking that your computer/motherboard is supported on Windows 10 by the manufacturer before updating and installing any relevant BIOS/chipset updates as required (please contact the manufacturer for assistance with this).

Saffire firewire range (Pro 14, Pro 24, Pro 24 DSP, Pro 26, Pro 40, Liquid Saffire 56)

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Scarlett 2i2, Scarlett 2i4, Scarlett Solo (1st and 2nd Generation)

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Points of note: 1st Gen Solo/2i2/2i4 users who experience an issue where setting the interface as both the input and output device in WDM applications (Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak etc) results in only be able to hear the input /or/ output signal should install beta driver 4.36.4

 

Scarlett 6i6, Scarlett 18i8, Scarlett 18i20 (1st and 2nd Generation)

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Points of note: We are aware of an issue where 1st Gen Scarletts cannot be used as an input and output device simultaneously in some WDM applications (such as Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak etc). If you encounter this on a 1st Gen 6i6/18i8/18i20 please do not install a beta driver but instead contact our Technical Support team here

Scarlett 8i6, Scarlett 18i6

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Points of note: The Scarlett 8i6 and 18i6 are not officially supported, though have been found to work.

 

Saffire 6 USB 1.1 & 2.0

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Points of note: We are aware of an issue where the Saffire 6 USB 1.1 & 2.0 interfaces cannot be used as an input and output device simultaneously in some WDM applications (such as Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak etc). If you encounter this, we would advise selecting your computer's inbuilt speakers as the output device for the application. Please note ASIO applications (Cubase, Pro Tools, Ableton etc) are unaffected by this issue. 

 

Forte

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Points of note: We are aware of an issue where the Forte interface cannot be used as an input and output device simultaneously in some WDM applications (such as Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak etc). If you encounter this, we would advise selecting your computer's inbuilt speakers as the output device for the application. Please note ASIO applications (Cubase, Pro Tools, Ableton etc) are unaffected by this issue. 

iTrack Solo

Works with Windows 10 Creators Update? YES

Points of note: We are aware of an issue where the iTrack Solo interface cannot be used as an input and output device simultaneously in some WDM applications (such as Skype, Discord, TeamSpeak etc). If you encounter this, we would advise selecting your computer's inbuilt speakers as the output device for the application. Please note ASIO applications (Cubase, Pro Tools, Ableton etc) are unaffected by this issue.
