We are aware of an issue that can cause kernel panics when the Scarlett low latency installer is used with some macOS Sierra systems. If your macOS Sierra system crashes when using a Scarlett, please follow the steps below to remove the kext file while this is investigated.
If you wish to uninstall the low latency application due to the behavior mentioned above, you can delete the apps 'kext' file manually from the following location:
Mac HD -> System -> Library -> Extensions -> Scarlett2ndGen.kext
To navigate to this location, please open a new finder window. You should now see "Finder" appear next to the Apple Icon in the top left corner of the screen. To the right of this, you should see a "Go" option. Please select "Go" and then the "Computer" option.
From here please open Macintosh HD -> System -> Library -> Extensions. Please ensure that you are in the Library folder located within System and not the one on the same level as System. Once you are in the Extensions folder, please locate and remove the Scarlett2ndGen.kext file.
Once deleted, then empty your trash and restart your machine.
